Origin II will play in a police station and introduce multiple characters that are involved in dialogs and an interrogation. We need to conceptualize this and build the required content.

In Origin I, we will introduce Johnny who just moved into a bigger house and needs to do some constructions. We need to conceptualize and build the required content.

Development Roadmap / [Gameplay] Dialog system supporting complex conversations

SWARMED as a character-driven game will put heavy focus on dialogs. As such, we are developing a sophisticated dialog system allowing for conversations between any number of people and varying conversation leaders.

We will present this dialog system in Origin II.

Development Roadmap / [Gameplay] Free-world and slot-based construction system

SWARMED will feature a double-barelled construction systems. Walls and fences and some other structures can be placed freely, in a grid-less construction system, while other things like workshops rely on existing construction slots in the world.

We will showcase this constructions system in Origin I.

Since SWARMED is early in development, we need a way to push updates. We will create a slim launcher (don't worry - you won't need a Three Eyed Games ID or anything overblown) that always has the latest news about development and keeps SWARMED up to date.

Development Roadmap / [Community] Put some life into the developer's blog

To showcase what we have already achieved in the development process of SWARMED, we will a handful of initial blog posts. We will mostly cover the technical backgrounds of the development inside Unity 3D, but may also shed some light on our plans on the game design and writing side.

Development Roadmap / [Community] Set up forum, roadmap and developer's blog

We want to make development transparent and get as much feedback as we can. Our primary way to do that will be the Three Eyed Games forums that will also host our development roadmap and the developer's blog. The roadmap and blog will be mirrored on the website for a better overview.
